On Friday night at a ceremony in Brisbane, integratedliving's Marketing & Communications Manager Vanessa Jones, along with Cheryl Barrett, Queensland General Manager accepted the recognition for the ITAC Leadership & Innovation category at the 2016 Regional Achievement and Community Awards.
Taking an innovative nutritional approach to tackling the negative health outcomes of Indigenous People, the team extended the simple providing of food and developed a joint education partnership to promote intergenerational activities in food gathering, cooking classes and social meals.
