In this first chapter of Live Well Moments, I'm thrilled to share some of the touching stories showcasing the latest creativity, joy, resilience and connection our clients and team have created at our Centres.
Our clients make our Centres such wonderfully uplifting places. Their stories highlight the wonderful gift that community and connection brings to us all. In my role as Marketing Coordinator, I am delighted to collect and share them here with you. I hope you find them as inspiring as I do.
Phil's Artistic Journey
Despite his battle with arthritis, Phil brings inspiring patience and determination to our Raymond Terrace Activity Centre on all his visits. More often than not, Phil creates stunning diamond dot artworks on his visits. Each time dedicating more hours to his masterpieces, all while filling the Centre with his contagious laughter and joy. Alongside his art, Phil's resilience and vibrant spirit uplift our lovely community at the Centre, proving that creativity and humour go together beautifully well!

Frits' Doughnut Delights
At our Raymond Terrace Activity Centre, clients have been in for a special treat. Embracing his Dutch heritage, Frits introduced everyone to the delightful Oliebollens, which scrumptious deep-fried doughnuts filled with raisins and generously dusted with powdered sugar. With the help of his daughter, Frits lovingly prepared a homemade batch and shared them with his many friends at the Centre. The Oliebollens were a massive hit, leaving everyone with smiles and a sweet dusting of sugar on their lips!

Geoff brings joy to Woy Woy Activity Centre with his exceptional musical talents, offering delightful entertainment for all the clients in our community. His melodies create a vibrant atmosphere, lifting hearts with happiness and smiles. Whether it's a familiar tune or a new composition, Geoff's music never fails to brighten the day. Art therapy and social connections altogether
In the vibrant world of art, creativity knows no bounds. Recently, clients of the Gosford Activity Centre worked together on a masterpiece that not only showcases their artistic talent but also embodied the spirit of community and resilience.
Titled 'Harmony in Diversity,' the painting is a collaborative effort that reflects the diverse backgrounds and unique perspectives of the individuals involved. Through bold strokes and vivid colours, it captures the essence of unity amidst diversity, reminding us of the beauty that arises when different voices come together in harmony.
Like all out Centres, Gosford Activity Centre provides a supportive environment where clients can unleash their imagination and discover the joy of self-expression.
