Our Service Delivery team plays a huge part in keeping our clients in their homes across regional, rural and remote Australia.
What qualities do your team members have that set them apart?
Our team members really care about our clients. Our team is committed to supporting our clients and delivering the care they need to stay at home for as long as they wish. Every day, our team of support workers are out in the community across regional, rural and remote Australia, delivering the highest quality of service they can.
Our support workers show compassion, empathy, humour and care each and every day. They are learners, and love to listen to and share stories with the people they support. Our support workers are the core of what we do, and are how we support our clients to live full and independent lives.
What does your team enjoy about working with our clients?
Our support workers tell us they love what they do! They love being able to visit clients and support them in their homes. They love hearing about their lives and their families. We have support workers who have learnt some life skills from our clients. Such things as how to knit, crochet or cook a particular dish. We have also been able to share skills with clients, too!
What makes your team so good with our clients?
To be a great support worker starts with who the support worker is as a person. Then we have the opportunity to build on that with extra training, guidance and support. We are very lucky here at integratedliving to attract support workers who demonstrate not only skill in what they do, but the values that we hold as an organisation. These values include respect, integrity, unity, equity, diversity and leadership.
Our support workers live our values and demonstrate this in the care they provide to our clients on a daily basis. We see great feedback and compliments coming in from our clients about their support workers, and how they have made such an impact on their lives.
What does your team find most rewarding about working in aged care?
Our team members gain most satisfaction from the opportunity to make a difference in a person’s life, being able to provide a service that matters and to do it well. They feel great rewards in enabling our clients to remain at home in a safe and supported way.
